In­au­gu­ral bou­tique cheese fes­ti­val

THE count­down is on to what prom­ises to be one of the most deca­dent culi­nary events of the year - Fes­ti­val Fro­mage.

Perth’s in­au­gu­ral bou­tique cheese fes­ti­val will take place in­side the his­toric Perth Town Hall and Cathe­dral Square lawn.

Events will also be staged at Curtin Univer­sity City Build­ings and the old WA Club on St Ge­orges Ter­race.

The four-day fes­ti­val will be a del­uge of dairy de­lights, fea­tur­ing a dizzy­ing ar­ray of cheese and liquor.

There will be de­gus­ta­tions, cheese pic­nics, tast­ings with in­ter­na­tional cheese ex­perts, fro­mage walk­ing tours and a se­ries of talks and mas­ter­classes.

Among the high­lights will be a lec­ture on mak­ing the ul­ti­mate cheese toastie with Jes­sica Arnott, who fin­ished third on Masterchef Aus­tralia.

The Fes­ti­val runs from Novem­ber 11-13.
