CLARE­MONT-NED­LANDS con­tin­ued their un­beaten form as Jake Whiteaker led his side to a two-wicket vic­tory to head­line Round 4 of the Premier Cricket sea­son.

Whiteaker car­ried his bat for 77 not out, as Clare­mont-Ned­lands eclipsed Perth’s score of 193 at Cress­well Park on Satur­day.

Ear­lier, Matt Kelly and Hay­dan Mor­ton were vi­tal, tak­ing three wick­ets each to re­strict the vis­i­tors, with Kea­gan Africa the other no­table wicket-taker with two.

The Tigers were cruis­ing to vic­tory at 3-132 be­fore los­ing a bun­dle of wick­ets, with Whiteaker crucial in guid­ing them home with an over to spare.

Su­bi­aco Floreat were hand­somely beaten, as they went down to a Jaron Mor­gan-led Joon­dalup side at Iluka Sports Com­plex.

Calum How (79) and Alex Mal­colm (61) got the Li­ons off to a flyer with a 138-run open­ing stand, be­fore fin­ish­ing on 4-277.

In re­ply, the Cen­tu­ri­ons had no prob­lem in chas­ing down the tar­get, with Mor­gan (139) and Michael Swart (100no) lead­ing them to a nine-wicket win with 31 balls to spare.

Univer­sity con­tin­ued their dif­fi­cult start to the sea­son, go­ing down to a dom­i­nant Fre­man­tle side by nine wick­ets at Stevens Re­serve.

Will Bo­sisto was the star for the Stu­dents with 108 not out.
