ROBYN Spartling had $1500 to spend on a Melbourne Cup outfit at Claremont Quarter and help from stylist Karolina Borkorvic after winning a competition.

Robyn entered #BeStyledByClaremont after making a purchase at Marie Claire shoes on St Quentin Avenue.

But the avid shopper wasn’t confident of taking out the competition, saying she never won anything.

The shopping spree on Saturday, October 29 with Karolina, of Shenton Park, was perfect timing; Robyn left for Melbourne on Monday to attend the Melbourne Cup.

The competition attracted more than 420 entrants from 14 different Claremont Town Centre businesses. NINE News presenters Emmy Kubainski and Michael Thomson will be flipping burgers at McDonald’s Jolimont as part of McHappy Day this Saturday.

Ronald McDonald House Charities is celebrating 25 years of McHappy Day in 2016 and is aiming to raise a record-breaking $3.8 million.

To support McHappy Day, buy a Big Mac, merchandise or simply make a donation.
