Green tees up big acts

A DAY on the Green will cel­e­brate a mile­stone this month, hav­ing pre­sented 400 shows na­tion­ally since be­gin­ning in 2001.

Seventy-three of th­ese con­certs have been in WA, and the line-up of Aus­tralian and in­ter­na­tional tal­ent con­tin­ues with four con­certs at Kings Park and Botanic Gar­dens.

You Am I, Some­thing For Kate, Spi­der­bait and Jebe­diah per­form on Novem­ber 20, while Garbage, The Tem­per Trap and The Prea­tures will take to the stage on Novem­ber 29.

Sim­ple Minds and The B-52s are set for Fe­bru­ary 2. The lat­est an­nounce­ment is the dou­ble bill of Cyndi Lau­per and Blondie, who will play on April 12.
