Western Suburbs Weekly - - Drive Way -

CLAREMONT resident Michael Saleeba left for Las Vegas yesterday ahead of the World’s Toughest Mudder competition next weekend.

It is the second time Saleeba will compete in the extreme 24hour obstacle course challenge.

Competitors aim to complete as many laps of the 8km course as possible in 24 hours.

Saleeba said he covered 72km and more than 180 obstacles last year and aimed to finish 80km and 250 obstacles in 24 hours this year.

He said it was a tough competition and competitors only received a copy of the course when they arrived.

Saleeba is the only West Australian in this year’s competition.

Willetton’s Brett Bayley bowls against Subiaco Floreat.
