Flash mob dance for world kindness
KINDERGARTEN students from Perth College surprised families at Kings Park with a flash mob dance to launch World Kindness Week earlier this month.
The girls were joined by 15 Year 11 dance students for a seven-minute routine promoting human interaction, kindness, compassion and empathy.
The students, including Holly Watson, Taylor Stone and Evelyn Bell, were among thousands of people from 100 cities in 50 countries to perform a flash mob to the same song and same dance on the same day.
The event, organised by non-profit organisation Life Vest Inside, involves participants posing in positions that demonstrate acts of kindness, showing that kindness is a common thread.
Perth College was the only group in Australia registered for the fifth annual Worldwide Dance for Kindness.
