Trunks were a real treat

THE International School of WA (ISWA) celebrated its 10th Halloween festival Trunk or Treat, with 60 nationalities coming together for the event.

Principal Maria Coate said the school held the festival as a way to celebrate the different cultures represented at ISWA.

“This year each group decorated the trunk of a family car, which resulted in some pretty ‘scary’ trunks,” she said.

“We also hosted a fashion parade, which showed off a wide range of outfits from the cutest to the most original to the most spooky.

“Our students certainly had a lot of fun, which is a vital part of our school ethos to provide a welcoming, inclusive community atmosphere.”

A lot of work went into making trunks as spooky as possible.
