Lo­cals set to rep­re­sent WA at na­tion­als

WEST­ERN sub­urbs hockey play­ers have been se­lected to com­pete in the In­door Na­tional Cham­pi­onships in Jan­uary.

Wem­b­ley stu­dents Lach­lan Cain and Michael Low were both named in the WA un­der-15 boys’ team and Nedlands’ El­iz­a­beth Duguid was se­lected in the WA Open Women’s Team.

The play­ers are set to com­pete in Wol­lon­gong in a month-long com­pe­ti­tion.

A Hockey WA spokesman con­grat­u­lated those named in the state teams and wished them the best of luck in the build-up to next year’s tour­na­ment.
