She said Subiaco often got unnecessary bad press.
“It is of course concerning about the number of businesses that have closed in Subiaco over the recent months, but we need to remember that there have been new businesses that have also opened,” she said.
“Anything said or published about Subiaco always seems to focus on the negative rather than the positive.
“It’s hard out there if you are a small business owner, no matter where you are located. In our first few days of official trading we’ve been thrilled with the number of people through the door.”
Ms Jones said she hoped the restaurant would be the start of something new for Subiaco.
