Making quite a statement

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Business -

WA artists Dawn Gamblen , Phil Gamblen and Peter Gee have contributed to a new entry statement at HBF Stadium.

The entrance statement aims to capture imagination and draw attention to a promotional screen.

Dawn said it was important to create a soaring and inspiring structure that immediately drew the eyes upwards.

“We also wanted to create a series of growing structures representing progression,” she said.

“This has been signified with the three shapes growing into the big pinnacle at the top sending the message to strive and aim high as you would in any sport.”

Phil said the three structures represented a family unit, a community and a team rather than being independent.

“There is a contemporary Gothic influence we appreciated during the design phase,” he said.
