THIEVES may have had easy access because there was no sign of forced entry when a 2014 Mercedes-Benz was taken from a Hill Terrace home between 11pm on December 4 and 6.30am the following morning. “The residents woke up in the morning and found the garage door open,” Sergeant Paul Gelmi said. The thieves took ignition keys, a handbag and purse from the kitchen, before stealing the car, which has not been found late last week.
A MOSMAN Park man (32) allegedly hit his girlfriend at his Wellington Street apartment about 10pm on December 4. Sergeant Paul Gelmi said it would be alleged the woman was hit in her left eye, causing swelling and bruising. Her boyfriend was charged with assault, before he was bailed to reappear at Perth Magistrates Court on January 4.
