THIEVES may have had easy ac­cess be­cause there was no sign of forced en­try when a 2014 Mercedes-Benz was taken from a Hill Ter­race home be­tween 11pm on De­cem­ber 4 and 6.30am the fol­low­ing morn­ing. “The res­i­dents woke up in the morn­ing and found the garage door open,” Sergeant Paul Gelmi said. The thieves took ig­ni­tion keys, a hand­bag and purse from the kitchen, be­fore steal­ing the car, which has not been found late last week.

A MOS­MAN Park man (32) al­legedly hit his girl­friend at his Welling­ton Street apart­ment about 10pm on De­cem­ber 4. Sergeant Paul Gelmi said it would be al­leged the woman was hit in her left eye, caus­ing swelling and bruis­ing. Her boyfriend was charged with as­sault, be­fore he was bailed to reap­pear at Perth Mag­is­trates Court on Jan­uary 4.
