Woman (60) on drugs charges
A STASH of 20 ecstasy tablets and 2.6g of methamphetamine was allegedly in the possession of a 60year-old Mosman Park woman when she reported to Cottesloe police station on November 24.
“She was here for an alleged breach of her bail because she was not reporting to the station each week,” Sergeant Paul Gelmi said.
The woman is an alleged methamphetamine dealer who was dobbed in by her neighbours, leading police to raid her Housing Authority flat in Wellington Street, Mosman Park, on October 31.
It was alleged the flat contained 2g of methamphetamine, smoking implements and unauthorised drug prescriptions.
Police said there were devices that indicated drug dealing, including small plastic bags, scales and $400 in cash. The woman was charged with intent to sell methamphetamine and possession of an illegal drug, and faced eviction by the Authority.
Sgt Gelmi said the woman failed to conform to subsequent bail restrictions and was asked to attend the station, where the additional drugs were allegedly found in her possession.
She was charged with 12 more counts of intent to sell or supply drugs. She was refused bail in court on November 25 and remanded in custody to reappear to face all charges from the raid and the station on December 28.
