LANDCORP’S Claremont on the Park development is set to be Perth’s first multi-age precinct (MAP), catering for people of all ages and stages of life.

The term MAP was coined by PerthAlive and Future Perth and refers to mixed-use developments in established areas, comprising several hundred dwellings, in walking distances of a major transport hub, urban town centre and associated facilities, with a focus on social sustainability and community.

The inclusion of an on-site service provider offering lifestyle and aged-care services ensures the development will suit all generations.

Claremont on the Park is being delivered by LandCorp in partnership with the Town of Claremont and the private sector.

“Claremont on the Park is a great example of the way LandCorp is realising the potential of underutilised spaces, transforming them into attractive, sustainable and connected places to live,” LandCorp chief executive Frank Marra said. “It will deliver 750 homes for more than 1000 future residents and it maximises the use of infrastructure in its proximity to the rail line.”

The development includes the completed The Pocket, while construction has begun on The Grandstand and Reserve projects.

Amana Living will provide lifestyle and aged-care services to precinct residents and nearby local communities.
