UNIVER­SITY Cricket Club sealed its sec­ond con­sec­u­tive vic­tory in thrilling fash­ion on Satur­day, with a last-wicket run-out se­cur­ing a three-run vic­tory as round 11 of the Premier Cricket con­cluded.

The Stu­dents scored an upset win over Gosnells at Sutherlands Park, with young spin­ner Sean Stu­art star­ring with a five-wicket haul.

Stu­art took 5-35 as Gosnells fell just three runs short of the Stu­dents’ to­tal of 245.

Will Bo­sisto was vi­tal with the bat, scor­ing a half-cen­tury, while Harry Pod­more chipped in with a late cameo for the Stu­dents.

Tim David con­tin­ued his fan­tas­tic sea­son with an­other cen­tury to guide Clare­mont-Ned­lands to their 10th straight vic­tory against Joon­dalup at Iluka Sports Com­plex.

David ham­mered 126 from 118 balls, in­clud­ing eight fours and three sixes, in a dev­as­tat­ing dis­play.

Jim Al­lenby com­bined with the young gun to make 35, as the Tigers posted a com­mand­ing 266.

A maiden cen­tury from Cameron Green was the dif­fer­ence at Floreat Park, with Su­bi­aco Floreat mov­ing in­side the top six with a win over Mt Law­ley.

Su­bi­aco Floreat were in trou­ble at 4-32 be­fore Green took over, ham­mer­ing 11 bound­aries in his 141-ball stay.
