COTTESLOE VOTERS WERE ASKED WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR FROM THE LIBERAL AND LABOR PARTIES ABOUT CONGESTION ON CURTIN AVENUE THROUGH THE TOWN DURING THE STATE ELECTION.

JILL HARRIS Mosman Park

Not to have an increase in heavy trucks, because I go down it every day and it’s difficult enough as it is.

SIMON BURT Mosman Park

I recently returned from Melbourne after six years and I have noticed the increase in traffic, but don’t know how it could be solved.

GARY WANSBROUGH Cottesloe

I’d like to know when someone is going to do something about it, especially in the morning when there are all the trucks, and why hasn’t a dual lane been done.

SARAH BLUNT Mosman Park

I only ride a bicycle along there and I’d like to see a bike path all the way along because I now have to stop at Swanbourne, and Curtin Avenue has the most dangerous traffic.

PETER ROBERTSON Cottesloe

I’d like them then to commit to getting the cars off, especially the big SUVS, and replacing them with bicycles.
