Triple treat at Lawrence Wil­son

THE Lawrence Wil­son Art Gallery at UWA will be open­ing three ex­hi­bi­tions on Satur­day.

He­len Brit­ton: In­ter­stices (run­ning un­til April 15) is an ex­hi­bi­tion show­cas­ing 25 years of work from renowned Aus­tralian artist and one of the world’s lead­ing con­tem­po­rary jewellers, He­len Brit­ton.

The ex­hi­bi­tion is pre­sented as part of the Perth In­ter­na­tional Arts Fes­ti­val and will in­clude new works that draw in­spi­ra­tion from WA’S coast­line.

The Like­ness, which runs un­til July 1, is a dy­namic show­case of more than 100 years of Aus­tralian por­trai­ture from the UWA’S Cruthers Col­lec­tion of Women’s Art.

Works of Art from War­bur­ton will be on dis­play un­til July 18 and is an ex­hi­bi­tion from the Berndt Mu­seum and War­bur­ton Arts Project that brings to Perth a se­lec­tion of works from the com­mu­nity’s own col­lec­tion.

War­bur­ton is a re­mote Abo­rig­i­nal com­mu­nity south of the Gib­son Desert, in the cen­tre of Ngaany­at­jarra lands.
