Apartment opportunity

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Residential -

LJ HOOKER Claremont director Vivien Yap says if people are interested in apartment living in the western suburbs, now is the time to buy as there is limited availability.

“Claremont is a very niche market and you can’t build apartments everywhere,” she said.

“The apartment buying market in this area will remain limited and controlled in terms of development. Land is rare and not cheap, so buying at somewhere like Claremont on the Park is a unique opportunity.”

Mrs Yap is practising what she preaches and has just bought a onebedroom apartment in Mirvac’s The Reserve complex.

“We chose an apartment at Claremont on the Park as an investment opportunity that we can also use for our children to live in when they go to university,” she said.

“As an investment it is the perfect location and that is what sold it for me.

“There is lots of potential for rental.”

Construction has started on The Reserve and it is expected to be completed in early 2019. ■
