LOCAL RESIDENTS WERE ASKED WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN TO SUBIACO OVAL WHEN FOOTBALL MOVES TO THE NEW PERTH STADIUM.

Western Suburbs Weekly - - State Election ‘17 -

MICHAEL RYAN Mosman Park

Keep the stadium and use it for other sports. Don’t fill Subiaco up with high rise.

JANET MCDONALD Mosman Park

The Oval should be retained; it’s been there for years and is part of Subiaco’s history. No high rise but would not be opposed to low density living.

MICHAEL CUTLER Floreat

There’s no use putting WAFL there, I think it’s got to end up as high density living.

ANNETTE RODRIGUEZ Subiaco

They could make the grounds a marketplace while retaining the greenery. I’d like to see something that fits with Subiaco’s heritage.

MALCOLM COMERFORD Mosman Park

They should knock it down and do what Claremont has done

– an oval with apartments around it. Then at least Subiaco Football

Club would still have a home ground.
