A HAMIL­TON Hill woman (37) al­legedly stole un­der­wear af­ter tak­ing a door key left in the let­ter­box of a Thelma Street home at 11.20am on Fe­bru­ary 11. Po­lice said they ar­rived at the house about five min­utes later and ar­rested the woman as she was leav­ing the house.

It will be al­leged the woman also stole lap­tops, a GPS de­vice and other elec­tronic de­vices.

The woman was bailed to reap­pear at Perth Mag­is­trates Court on March 10.


A THIEF broke a pad­lock when he raided a gar­den shed at a Barker Road home.

Po­lice said the raid took place overnight on Fe­bru­ary 11. A small tool box was taken.


THIEVES took the num­ber­plates to a woman’s VW Amarok util­ity be­fore the theft was re­ported at 10am on Fe­bru­ary 13. Po­lice said it was sus­pected the plates were taken dur­ing the pre­vi­ous night.

It could not be con­firmed if the stolen plates had been used in any sub­se­quent crime.


THIEVES took tools worth $2000 from a gar­dener. Po­lice said the tools were taken from the back of the gar­dener’s util­ity as he worked at a Ham­mond Road home about noon on Fe­bru­ary 11.

The stolen tools com­prised a leaf blower, whip­per­snip­per, chain­saw and hedge cut­ter.


LIPSTICK was among the items taken when a Lorma Street home was bur­gled about 11pm on Fe­bru­ary 11.

Po­lice said a door had been left open to a down­stairs bed­room, be­fore the bur­glar used the door to en­ter and exit.

A purse, lap­top com­puter, hand­bag and cash were also taken.

With the help of a caller, we re­cently ar­rested a man who was smash­ing car win­dows.
