Part of that care is help­ing you to un­der­stand how new changes to the way the Aus­tralian gov­ern­ment plans to de­liver Home Care Pack­ages will af­fect you.

If you are cur­rently re­ceiv­ing a Bethanie Home Care Pack­age, you will con­tinue to have the same ser­vices that help you to live well in your own home, even if you move lo­ca­tion.

If you are cur­rently re­ceiv­ing a Bethanie Home Care Pack­age but are await­ing a new level of care, you will need to in­di­cate that you want to stay on the wait­list for your new level of care.

In the mean­time, there will be no change to your cur­rent Bethanie Home Care ser­vices.

If you have been ap­proved for a Home Care Pack­age but have not yet ac­ti­vated your care, you may have re­ceived a let­ter from the gov­ern­ment ask­ing if you wish to re­main on the Home Care Pack­age wait­list.

If you do want to stay on the Bethanie wait­list, you will need to re­spond.

If you have Aged Care As­sess­ment Team (ACAT) ap­proval and want to start re­ceiv­ing Home Care ser­vices im­me­di­ately in­stead of join­ing the na­tional wait­list, Bethanie can of­fer you a range of ser­vices to help you con­tinue liv­ing com­fort­ably in your home for as long as pos­si­ble.
