Hancey had the task of feed­ing Adele’s en­tourage for more than a week around the songstress’ sell-out show in Su­bi­aco.

Speak­ing at the launch of Taste Great South­ern event 24 hours af­ter the con­cert, Mr Hancey said his team pre­pared about 2500 meals with the most pop­u­lar be­ing old-fash­ioned, homestyle meals such as Shep­herd’s Pie and stir fry veges.

“It took 42 guys six days to build that stage and we’ve been look­ing af­ter them break­fast, lunch and din­ner,” Mr Hancey said.

And the lady her­self cer­tainly em­braced WA pro­duce.

“Adele ate Linley Val­ley pork, Mt Barker chicken, But­ter­field Beef, Great South­ern olive oil in­clud­ing 3 Drops, a lot of stun­ning fruit from Man­jimup south­ern forests, Carnar­von ba­nanas and Onslow snap­per,” Mr Hancey said.
