TEENAGE girls, both aged 15, were robbed at West Leederville train station about 2pm on March 12. Senior Sergeant Julie Foley said the girls were on a Fremantle-bound train when two men got on at Perth Station and threatened the girls to hand over money, before getting off at West Leederville. One man was described as Caucasian, in his early 20s with short, cropped hair, dark eyebrows and very pale skin, who wore a white T-shirt and trousers, and had felt-tip pen marks over his arms. His accomplice was dark skinned, had a thin moustache, dark hair, and wore a red shirt and trousers.
A MAN woke in his car to see a thief taking his laptop through a window that had been pushed down at Floreat Beach about 5pm on March 14.
“He yelled out, but the thief ran away,” Senior Sergeant Julie Foley.
TWO men wearing dark clothing parked a white hatchback outside their intended victims’ home on
View Street about 5am on March 15. Tthey were disturbed by a resident when they walked in to the home’s pool area and fled.
A VANDAL is damaging cars parked on Finlayson Street, Roberts and Kershaw and Heytesbury roads.
“All of the vehicles had their wiper blades damaged or removed Senior Sergeant Julie Foley said. Some of the vehicles were also scratched when the damage occurred overnight on March 9.
A WEMBLEY man (30) is charged with stealing after the alleged theft of a $6000 necklace,
Senior Sergeant Julie Foley said it would be alleged the necklace was taken from a jewellery store on April 4, 2016.
“It will be alleged he grabbed it and ran from the store,” Sgt Foley said.
The man has been charged with stealing, and is remanded in custody to appear at Perth Magistrates Court on May 5.
