Media pair discover good reason to run

Western Suburbs Weekly - - News -

BREAKFAST announcer Heidi Anderson and Nine News Perth’s Paddy Sweeney will run for Lifeline WA in this year’s Run for a Reason on Sunday, May 28, to raise funds for the support and suicide prevention organisation.

The pair is eager to raise awareness of suicide prevention and crisis support services, a cause particularly meaningful to Ms Anderson, who has bravely spoken publicly about her experience of depression and anxiety.

She will run the 4km course for Lifeline WA, while Sweeney will run the 21km half marathon.

Anderson, who works for 92.9, said the charity meant a lot to her.

“The support and encouragement they showed me after speaking about my anxiety publicly has been phenomenal,” she said.

For crisis or suicide prevention support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or to register visit www.hbfrun.com.au.
