A 77-year-old Mosman Park man chased an armed burglar who disturbed him and his wife in their Glyde Street home about 7am on April 9.
“He lost him running down the adjacent laneway,” Senior Sergeant Ian Anderson said. The man reported being woken by a man with “a weapon” in the couple’s bedroom, from which a handbag was taken. Police later found a backpack and suitcase outside the home’s garage, both of which were suspected to have belonged to the burglar.
A THIEF took a $2000 television from a Chidley Way home. Sgt Ian Anderson said the home was entered between 10am on
April 4 and noon on April 10. “They forced open the door on the first level of the family room,” Sgt Anderson said.
