A SUBIACO man (43) has been charged with assaulting his former partner (39) and her neighbour at Housing Authority flats on Subiaco Road.
Sergeant Paul Vojkovich said it would be alleged the man smashed a front window of his former partner’s flat, before she ran to the neighbour’s flat about 7pm on April 15. The neighbour, who did not know the former couple, fought off the man, who was charged with aggravated burglary, criminal damage, common assault and burglary.
He was remanded in custody to reappear at Perth Magistrates Court May 1.
■ IT is alleged a Subiaco woman (39) stole credit cards from a car parked in York Street.
Sgt Vojkovich said the woman allegedly used the cards for up to
six purchases at service stations that total $600.
The woman’s Housing Authority, Subiaco Road flat was raided by police on April 15.
She was charged with stealing, fraud and possession of a drug implement, and will be summonsed to appear at Perth Magistrates Court at a later date.
A BURGLAR and vandal has hit four businesses in Station Street. Sgt Vojkovich said front door panels at four shops were smashed at 17 Station Street. A store’s door panel was smashed overnight on April 19 and three other shop door panels were damaged overnight on April 18. Nothing was taken at either incident.
A BURGLAR entered and exited
over a balcony to rob a Carr Street apartment overnight on April 18. Senior Sergeant Ange Tipping said the sliding door on the apartment’s balcony had been left unlocked.
The thief took cash of 2500 in Malaysian ringgit, a Malaysian passport and a backpack.
JOLIMONT A BURGLAR climbed up to a second-floor Currie Street apartment overnight on April 9.
Sgt Vojkovich said the apartment’s balcony door was open. The burglar took a mobile phone, an ipad and hair straightener.
AN open upstairs window let a burglar to enter a Robertson Terrace home on the Easter weekend. Sgt Vojkovich said a laptop computer was taken and jewellery.
