WEST Coast Fever cap­tain Natalie Med­hurst, of Kar­rinyup, wel­comed young net­ballers for the start of the 2017 Perth Netball As­so­ci­a­tion sea­son on Sat­ur­day.

The goal at­tack, who played her 200th game the fol­low­ing day, was joined by team­mate Kaylia Stan­ton at Matthews Netball Cen­tre in Wem­b­ley.

In the open divi­sion one, reign­ing pre­miers Scar­bor­ough beat Floreat 36-20, City Beach Surfers (1) de­feated Jets 48-27, Clas­sics (2) had a 55-53 win over CBS (2), and Phan­toms beat Clas­sics (1) 60-44.

Clas­sics (2) de­feated John XXIII 30-29 in the ju­nior divi­sion one com­pe­ti­tion while Storm beat CBS (1) 45-28, CBS (2) had a 4514 win over Perth Col­lege and Clas­sics (1) de­feated Methodist Ladies’ Col­lege 49-30.
