CONSTRUCTION is complete on Ocean272, Prdnationwide’s boutique, beachside development in Scarborough.

The prospect of living just 250m from Brighton Beach proved very attractive, with more than 65 per cent of the 28-apartment project selling off the plan.

Prdnationwide director for project marketing (WA) Angus Murray said Scarborough was going to be incredibly exciting in a few years, when the infrastructure was in place, and demand was strong in the area.

“Scarborough as a suburb offers something for everyone, from the young and free, to retirees,” he said.

“The area has come ahead in leaps and bounds in recent years and has a lot more to offer in terms of quality of life.”

Ocean272 includes one and two-bedroom apartments and almost all have Indian Ocean views.the decor is light and earthy, giving the apartments a bright and airy feel. Other features include timber floors in the entry and kitchen, carpeted bedrooms and living areas, stone benchtops in the bathrooms and kitchen and a European-style laundry.

“We’ve brought a real beach feel to the apartments at Ocean272, with whites and blues a constant reminder of the beach and ocean,” Mr Murray said.

“The rooftop barbecue terrace has come up amazingly well, with views of the beaches.”

The two-bedroom apartments have sold out and only nine one-bedroom apartments remain, with prices starting from $499,000.

A display apartment is open at Ocean272, 272 West Coast Highway, Scarborough on Saturdays from 11am to 12pm.
