A MOSMAN Park man (36) allegedly straddled his victim as he punched him in the head at a Caltex service station, Stirling Highway about 11.15pm on May 6.
Sergeant Paul Gelmi said it would be alleged the victim was kicked in the attack, which caused cuts to his head, back and hands, and broke the glass of a nearby pie dispenser and a fridge.
Sgt Gelmi said the men knew each other after living in flats at nearby Wellington Street and the victim was treated by paramedics at the service station and not taken to hospital.
The alleged attacker has been bailed to face charges of assault, unlawful damage and breach of bail when he appears at Perth Magistrates Court on May 16.
BURGLARS used an unlocked front door to get into an Albert
Street home about midnight on May 11. Sergeant Craig Harris said keys to a Volvo and a wallet were taken. However, the burglars did not take the vehicle.
