Mini bar a big hit Aloft rises to top
COMO The Treasury won the award for Best Mini Bar in Australia at the 2017 Gourmet Traveller Hotel Awards in Melbourne last week.
Rooms feature a complimentary bespoke mini bar that includes refreshments replenished daily, including Illy coffee and JING tea, still and sparking water, soft drinks, juices, West Australian craft beers, a selection of specially selected gourmet snacks and a seasonal fruit bowl.
Also available in each room, at a cost, are whisky from Limeburners and vodka and gin from Hippocampus Distillery.
Stays in one of COMO The Treasury’s suites feature a slightly more deluxe minibar, including a complimentary bottle of Taittinger champagne.
COMO The Treasury general manager Anneke Brown was happy to win the award.

The hotel, part of Marriott International group, is the first to open in Australia and is in the social hub of the Springs Rivervale community, alongside the Swan River.
Aloft Perth general manager Stephen Morahan said Perth was a dynamic growing city and a gateway to and from Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
