Crash son in hospital
A MAN (32) was in serious condition a day after being hit by a car being reversed by his father (71) from a Chester Road, Claremont garage about 3pm last Sunday.
“It is believed that he accelerated heavily, causing the car to hit his son, who was standing behind the vehicle at the time,” a police spokesman said.
The impact pushed his son through a brick wall and into a neighbouring swimming pool, before he was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
The car was expected to have been removed by crane yesterday.
