SHARON Lee is one of 20 artists represented by the David Giles Art Gallery.

With a long history in the visual arts, Lee worked for many years in ceramic painting.

In recent years, she has been creating her unique style of painting on canvas and selling work through The David Giles Art Gallery.

“My work is influenced by genetics, biology, psychology and cosmology, and explores the duality of existence in nature, humanity and the universe,” Lee said.

Gallery owner and artist David Giles said Lee’s paintings are beautifully worked surfaces of repetitive mark making that reference nature, life and energy, and the tensions between the infinite and the microscopic, the random and the ordered, and the chaotic and the controlled.

The David Giles Art Gallery is located at 49B High Street, Fremantle, and is open 11am - 5pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
