THE Collegians Amateur Football Club will pay tribute to club mate Henry Cusack with a fixture named in his honour.

Mr Cusack died after falling from the balcony of a Fremantle pub on Saturday night.

Collegians vicepresident Alastair Duckett said Mr Cusack, whom he coached to a premiership in 2010, had been a great friend.

“His smile and laughter was infectious and he had the ability to make conversation with any stranger and have them laughing instantly,” he said.

“From a club perspective, he was a great clubman, premiership player, coach and recent sponsor and it’s such a tragic loss, as the Cusack family is very close to the heart at Collegians.”

Mr Duckett said the club would name an upcoming fixture in his honour, although no details have yet been locked in.

Collegians will next take to the field to play Kelmscott at Dalkeith Oval on Saturday.
