Marvin mar­shalled for hockey

PERTH Wild­cats’ most suc­cess­ful manag­ing di­rec­tor, Nick Marvin, was re­cently ap­pointed Hockey WA in­terim chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer.

Marvin over­saw the club dur­ing its most suc­cess­ful pe­riod, when it won four na­tional cham­pi­onships in eight years. He said he was ex­cited about be­ing a part of the tran­si­tion and growth of hockey in WA.

“Hockey is a great par­tic­i­pa­tion sport and one that we con­sis­tently ex­cel at on the world stage,” Marvin said.

“WA hockey is also well-placed to grow the game in the Asian re­gion.”
