Night for reminiscing

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Fashion - By DENISE S. CAHILL

STYLEAID Icon 2017 had its own identity, designers, models and entertainment.

But there was no denying that the volunteers and many guests who have attended multiple Styleaid fundraisers were reminiscing throughout the night at Crown Towers.

Ali Bodycoat was a crowd favourite with her performance to open the show.

Then came the fashion parade involving the likes of Steph Audino, Ae’lkemi, Aurelio Costarella, 33 Poets, Elle Campbell, Flannel, Megan Salmon, Morrison and One Fell Swoop.

The stage glittered with fashion, make-up and energy.

WA Ballet finished the show adding to the grace of the evening.

Icon was the final theme for the WA Aids Council fundraiser and followed themes including Indulge in 2000, Noir in 2004, 2008s Renaissance and Gogo in 2015.

While the Styleaid event as it was has been farewelled, inaugural committee members Aly May, Annette Hasluck and Mark Reid are not done raising money and awareness for the WA Aids Council.
