CLAREMONT Colts claimed the Kimberley Regional Service Providers (KRSP) cup after a 76-point win over the Kimberley Spirit in Broome last month.

After a competitive opening half, the Tigers flexed their muscle in the latter stages to secure the victory, 20.8 (128) to 8.4 (52).

But the match was about more than the result.

The KRSP Cup is held annually and involves Claremont’s colts travelling to the Kimberley to experience a weekend in the region.

The Spirit’s side is made up of developing footballers from across the region who come together to complete various football, career and life education sessions before meeting the Tigers in an exhibition match.

Many in the Spirit side have aspirations of joining the WAFL Talent Pathway and joining Claremont.
