Property duo for fashion launch
FASHIONISTA Emma Milner is three months in to selling real estate and LJ Hooker Dalkeith Claremont director Vivien Yap is just a week away from partnering with the Perth Fashion Festival.
LJ Hooker Dalkeith Claremont is the major partner for this year’s Perth Fashion Festival Claremont Quarter Fashion Lunch that will be held at Beaumonde on the Point on September 6.
On the surface it would seem that roles are reversed for the friends of more than 10 years, but that is not quite the case.
Ms Milner, a sales executive with LJ Hooker Dalkeith Claremont, said Perth was very “relationship focused” and she had drawn on the trust she had built with people to launch her sales career.
The City Beach mother-of-two said that in real estate people had to trust the person who was selling their most valuable asset.
“I’m very lucky there because I’ve built a relationship with so many peo-
ple in Perth already,” she said.
Ms Yap is no stranger to fashion and is a big fan of West Australian designers, making Perth Fashion Fes- tival and LJ Hooker Dalkeith Claremont the perfect match.
“My style is timeless,” the Peppermint Grove resident said.
“It just needs to look sophisticated and I mix and match brands quite a bit.”
The fashion and real estate duo, who met when they were neighbours, were dressed in Manning Cartell for the Western Suburbs Weekly photo shoot. Manning Cartel will feature in the Claremont Quarter Fashion Lunch parade, with retailers including Camilla, Sass and Bide, and Morrison.
The Claremont Quarter and LJ Hooker Dalkeith Claremont partnership will be officially launched at the centre’s VIP Spring/summer Season Launch on Thursday.
