CASH was stolen from a flat on Thomas Street about midnight on August 30. Police believe the offender climbed up on the balcony and gained access to the property through an unlocked window. A BLACK Triumph motorbike was stolen from a UWA carpark on Hackett Drive during the day on August 25. The motorbike has not been recovered. Sgt Foley urged motorcyclists to carry a heavy-duty lock or chain to secure the bike to something solid. She said there was an ongoing issue of motorbikes being stolen and loaded on to trailers and vehicles. was approached by two men on Oxford Street in Leederville about 10.40pm on August 18. “An altercation occurred and the victim was punched to the face,” a police spokesman said. “He immediately collapsed, hitting his head on the ground.” The two men fled the scene prior to police and St John Ambulance arriving. The victim was taken to RPH.
■ WEMBLEY police arrested a 27-yearold Baldivis man on August 23 after he allegedly headbutted a security guard at the Darts Masters at HBF Stadium. The man became aggressive towards security and was removed from the darts event. Police were called and tried to move the man away but he headbutted a security guard. The man was charged with assault and is to appear in court at a later date.
