CASH was stolen from a flat on Thomas Street about mid­night on Au­gust 30. Po­lice be­lieve the of­fender climbed up on the bal­cony and gained ac­cess to the prop­erty through an un­locked win­dow. Wem­b­ley po­lice of­fi­cer in charge Julie Fo­ley urged res­i­dents to keep their win­dows locked or in­stall a lock­ing mech­a­nism if they wanted to leave their win­dows ajar. was stolen from a John Street res­i­dence , which was later found on Napier Street. A BLACK Tri­umph mo­tor­bike was stolen from a UWA carpark on Hack­ett Drive dur­ing the day on Au­gust 25. The mo­tor­bike has not been re­cov­ered. Sgt Fo­ley urged mo­tor­cy­clists to carry a heavy-duty lock or chain to se­cure the bike to some­thing solid. She said there was an on­go­ing is­sue of mo­tor­bikes be­ing stolen and loaded on to trail­ers and ve­hi­cles. was ap­proached by two men on Ox­ford Street in Leed­erville about 10.40pm on Au­gust 18. “An al­ter­ca­tion oc­curred and the vic­tim was punched to the face,” a po­lice spokesman said. “He im­me­di­ately col­lapsed, hit­ting his head on the ground.” The two men fled the scene prior to po­lice and St John Am­bu­lance ar­riv­ing. The vic­tim was taken to RPH.

■ WEM­B­LEY po­lice ar­rested a 27-yearold Bal­divis man on Au­gust 23 af­ter he al­legedly head­but­ted a se­cu­rity guard at the Darts Mas­ters at HBF Sta­dium. The man be­came ag­gres­sive to­wards se­cu­rity and was re­moved from the darts event. Po­lice were called and tried to move the man away but he head­but­ted a se­cu­rity guard. The man was charged with assault and is to ap­pear in court at a later date.
