As well as celebrating the Soaks under-13s Swan premiership, the Swanbournebased club also launched its Allen Park Viva Touch 7s competition that will run from September 27 to December 6.
The competition is a social form of touch rugby more similar to union than league and open to juniors aged from five and seniors.
Associates will field about five teams, but people can register as a team or an individual.
Junior president Bill Bowyer said the focus of the Touch 7s was on fun and there were no onerous formats.
“Teams can be male-only, female-only or mixed and there will be several social games running at all times,” Bowyer said.
“Different competitions will be run depending on the number of teams registering.
“While there will winners and losers, the primary aim is for everyone involved to have fun.”
There will be trial sessions on September 13 and 20 from 5.30pm for juniors and 6.30pm for seniors.
