Food trucks on the menu in Mosman Park

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Streetwatch -

EXOTIC food trucks will roll into Tom Perrott Reserve at Mccabe Street weekly in a new Mosman Park council policy to bring attractions to the riverside suburb.

“There will be about five trucks each serving a variety of foods including Asian, Mexican, South American, Italian and Lebanese food,” Brazilian food van Comida do Sul operator Joel Rees said.

The trial is an extension of the Under the Bridge event that attracts families and younger people near the Fremantle Traffic Bridge in East Fremantle on Monday evenings.

Mosman Park council environmental health officer Emily Dun said it was expected the trucks would operate 5-8pm each Thursday in spring and summer in the town.

“We are happy with people coming down with their dogs and their children,” Eat no Evil food truck operator Ben French said.
