SUBIACO’S Pedal Mafia will now supply all riding kit for Westcycle’s state teams.

The exclusive support arrangement spans across juniors, elite and masters categories for riders competing at national events in road, track and mountain biking.

Pedal Mafia founder Jay Barron said his company was looking to do its bit in growing the cycling community.

“Pedal Mafia started in my garage in 2014; it’s about getting more people out riding bikes, banding the cycling community together and demonstrating that cycling is an activity suited to everyone,” he said.

Westcycle chief executive Matt Fulton said he was proud to see the arrangement come to fruition.

“Having a kit supplier that is leading the way in technology development, quality, design and turnaround times, who is based in WA, employing West Australians and giving back to cycling in the state presents a brilliant partnership opportunity,” he said.

Westcycle will launch its new kit designs in early 2018, with a range available to the public.
