Pull punches, please Danny

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Westernopinion -

I RESPOND to reports of convicted murderer Trudi Lenon (one of the duo who tortured and murdered teenager Aaron Pajich-sweetman), who is still in hospital after being doused with boiling water by a fellow inmate.

I am a supporter of Danny Green’s adverts against onepunch unprovoked violence but I was saddened that Danny Green went on public record supporting the offender prisoner for dousing boiling water on a fellow inmate.

Your support of a fellow inmate pouring boiling water on a fellow prisoner seems at odds with your anti-violence campaign. Danny, remember, two wrongs don’t make a right, even in these extreme circumstances.

People who are convicted of torturing and murdering people are punished by way of imprisonment and rehabilitation, which partly includes making the offender realise the hurt she has done to the victim, his family and close friends.

Danny, up until now I have considered you a principled person. I hope you realise by supporting this atrocious attack on a fellow human, unprovoked, I thought, would go against your principles.

Danny, for goodness sake think twice before you speak. BRIAN G TENNANT Subiaco
