Whip around for charity
RIDES on the Elizabeth Quay Carousel will cost just a gold coin donation this Saturday to raise money charity Zero2hero. The carousel, opened Rohan Toni in for by and Milne December 2016, has been closed for a month but will reopen this weekend with new seating and fresh landscaping. “After almost 18 months in operation, the Elizabeth Quay Carousel has been warmly embraced by the people of Perth,” Mr Milne said.
“It is time for us to say thank you and raise money for our friends at Zero2hero who are standing up for young minds with their incredible work around education and awareness of mental illness.”
Zero2hero chief executive Ashlee Harrison said partnering with the Elizabeth Quay Carousel team would help engage heroes of all ages in conversations about mental health.
