A THIEF’S suspected weapon made by wrapping tape around a metal bar was a found in a white Subaru that was taken from a Mary Street home between 1am and 11.15am on April 1.
Sergeant Ian Anderson said the weapon, stolen knives, a briefcase, medication and tools were in the car when it was found in Hector Street, Yokine, two days later.
It is not known how the thief entered the house, where a bedroom was searched, before house keys and the car were taken from a side table.
