Council approves hotel alterations
COTTESLOE Council at its September 25 meeting decided to:
■ Agree to alterations and additions at Cottesloe Beach Hotel in Marine Parade to increase alfresco dining with windbreaks, and create two short-term drop-off bays and a John Street customer entrance.
■ Approve the event Celebration of the Motorcar at the Cottesloe Civic Centre on November 25, including a detailed financial report by March 2019.
■ Approve a mural on the north side of the boatshed at North Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club to celebrate the club’s centenary.
■ Allow a public access easement over a right of way for an approved green title subdivision at 82 Marine Parade, Cottesloe.
■ Approve planning applications at 16 Gibney Street (two two-storey dwellings), 30 Marine Pa- rade (home business), 5/40 Ozone Parade (clinical pilates), 7 Albion Street (subdivision), 47 John Street (new wall), 48 Forrest Street (amalgamation), 8 Grant Street (addition) and 17 Warton Street (amalgamation).
■ Allow the council’s events officer to do a $2500 certificate in event management in Melbourne.
■ Approve the TAL Spot Checker 2019 at Cottesloe Beach in January 12 and January 13, 2019.
