The healthy 12-year-old lad will walk 40km from Fremantle to Scarborough and back on Saturday, October 20 to raise money for Telethon.

Mum Chelsey said her son didn’t know any sick kids and she asked him why he wanted to raise money for Telethon.

He said “they are kids who should just be able to have fun, it sucks that they have to be sick”.

The Newman College student started raising money for Telethon a few years ago by doorknocking in his neighbourhood and last year he walked 20km from Fremantle to Scarborough.

He decided he needed to go further this year.

The family attend Telethon every year to hand over the money.
