Be­gin­ner pot­tery

THE Charleville Cul­tural Cen­tre will play host to a begin­ners’ pot­tery work­shop this week­end. The work­shop is run by tu­tor Bil­lie Cook, who has 30 years of ex­pe­ri­ence in pot­tery.

The course runs for three days but if you can’t make the full three, you can do just two days. Phone 0427 542 525 to make a book­ing – get in quick as spa­ces are lim­ited.

Half Way shindig

THE Half Way There Shindig is fast ap­proach­ing, with the event to kick off at the end of June. Maybe you’re on your way to the Big Red Bash and look­ing for a halfway point or maybe you want a night out to cel­e­brate halfway through the year?

What­ever your ‘halfway’ rea­son is, stop in at the Charleville Race­course for a night of food, stalls, mu­sic and a good old-fash­ioned party. WHERE: Charleville Race­course, Par­tridge St. WHEN: June 30.

Show­girl din­ner

THE Charleville Miss Show­girl and Miss Show­girl pre­sen­ta­tion is on next week­end. There will be a two-course din­ner at the Charleville RSL and at­ten­dees are asked to dress in smart ca­sual at­tire.

Come along and sup­port this year’s Show­girls as they get ready for the Charleville Show. Tick­ets are avail­able from the Charleville Newsagency. WHERE: Charleville RSL. WHEN: Satur­day, May 6, from 6.30pm.
