Innovation at forefront of forum

Western Times - - BEST OF THE WEST -

“IT’S about being ahead of change, and thinking five or ten years ahead, so we can be in control of where we are going to be.”

These are the words of Dr Colin Russo, director of Engaging Futures, a business that is “shaping tomorrow today”.

Dr Russo was one of the panellists at the Dalby Chamber of Commerce’s Innovation Forum dinner on Thursday night.

The forum was designed to enlighten and inspire business owners and individuals to use all of the infrastructure developing in the region to its full potential.

Dr Russo believed that business owners, particularly farmers, have an opportunity to expand their businesses like never before if they stay ahead of the game and engage the sleeping Asian giant.

“As their economies become stronger and they get the internet, it’s going to open up greater trade opportunities for us,” Dr Russo said.
