THE larrikin brothers from Dalby have paid a visit to western Queensland this week.

Last year’s House Rules winners, Luke and Cody Cook, are working with the lifestyle television show Queensland Weekender – and were filming their adventure around the region.

One of their stops along the way was at Charleville’s Cosmos Centre. Murweh Shire Council’s marketing and events coordinator Monique Johnson said it was a great boost for the town.

“They were so nice to work with and just normal every day blokes,” she said.

“They made time to stop in and chat and you could tell that they actually wanted to talk to you.

“They were just lovely fellows.”

The celebrity brothers toured the top half of the Natural Sciences Loop which consists of the Murweh, Quilpie, Bulloo and Paroo Shires.

Each one of the shires offers their own natural sciences areas and tourist locations.

“They spent two days in Charleville then visited Quilpie and then Eromanga,” Ms Johnson said. “All up they spent five days in the region and it was great to have them here.”

To check out the Dalby brother’s adventures make sure you watch Queensland Weekender, on the Seven Network on Saturdays at 5.30pm.
