Brush up on your cooking skills with QCWA

Western Times - - NEWS -

THE Queensland Country Women's Association (QCWA) will be holding workshops in the region in September, October and November.

There will be three workshops across the three months and they will all teach different skills around cooking healthily.

The first workshop provides an introduction to the Australian Dietary Guidelines. The second workshop will include making sweet and savoury muffins and a chicken stir-fry and the final workshop will be party-themed and will be all about party food but with a healthy twist.

A one-off donation of $50 goes back to the branch and includes all three workshops, morning tea, lunch, nutrition information, shopping bag, apron, tea towel, healthy catering guidelines and a foodie journal.

For more information email gheadyon@bigpond.net.au.
