Peppa is the most annoying

Western Times - - LIFE | FAMILY LIFE -

PARENTS have revealed Peppa Pig is the worst kids’ TV show they’re forced to watch, based on annoying characters and boring plots.

SpongeBob SquarePants was rated the most popular in the survey by website Childcare.co.uk, which has a database of more than 1.2 million parents.

The website discovered the show featuring a human-like pig and her mammal friends was the most annoying.

When asked why, nearly half (46%) said Peppa’s attitude and manner was the reason and more than a quarter (28%) said the storylines.

In comparison, almost half (48%) opted for Nickelodeon’s iconic show SpongeBob SquarePants as their favourite.

Nearly two-thirds of respondents said shows were better when they were growing up.

Richard Conway, chief executive officer and founder of Childcare UK, said: “The subject of which children’s programs parents love and hate is something we’ve seen discussed a lot, so we thought we’d look into it properly.

“As most parents will know, finding a television program that your children like can be hard enough, let alone trying to find one you don’t find too irritating!”
